Staff were wonderful, accommodating and helpful. We had an ocean view room, so the balcony was a definite, plus. The Bar was convenient. Menu was decent Bar appetizers. Good drinks. We ate at the restaurant one night. The food was delicious but extremely pricey two entrées and appetizer to split, a beer and a Diet Coke came to $150. The beach is absolutely beautiful, but the water is rough on that side of the island. The rooms had the amenities that you need but no extras like a microwave or a pamphlet that tells you like what’s in the area or is there laundry services etc. They definitely need an upgrade to the rooms as they were basic but acceptable. One big negative was the shower door lets all the water onto the floor. It would’ve been nice to have a screen on the sliding door so that I could keep the door open to hear the tree frogs in the ocean. Cleanliness was ok. It wasn’t spotless but for what we paid and where it was it was ok. Because we were just there in August the air conditioner we ran 24/7 and it kept the room icy cold. The Coco Reef is very conveniently located to the bus stop although you do have to walk down a big hill. There is also a grocery store that is like one block away. This has been our 4th trip to Bermuda in the last two years we have stayed at two other hotels that were more expensive. Cocoa Reefs is definitely affordable for families. There were a lot of young kids there. The pool was very nice and refreshing.

Very disappointed with flexibility of management who answered to my requests with ultimatums. Had a delivery and it went missing with zero accountability and poor responsiveness from management. Amazing employees at ground level with great customer service skills. Not the same for administrative staff. Got a room which had not been updated; older, decently-maintained furniture, musty smell in the cottage, great size, bed made noise, large gap under door and the icing on the cake…a roach crawled on my arm in the middle of the night. Amazing views, food was tasty, facility overall well kept, but will never go back or recommend it.

"3rd time is the charm! Can’t rave enough about this rental! Sunrises, sunsets, 6 am snorkles and proximity to the ferry to head over to Hamilton. It truly is paradise! Trini Spice for roti’s and the local store in close proximity! We love watching all the boats go by from the property!"
